US Embassy Beirut Warden Message
14 October 2004
In light of recent events, U.S. Embassy personnel are exercising
greater caution with respect to visits to shopping malls in the
Beirut area and recommend American citizens do the same.
The Department of State is deeply concerned about the heightened
threat of terrorist attacks against U.S. citizens and interests
abroad, and U.S. citizens are reminded to maintain a high level
of vigilance and to take appropriate steps to increase their security
awareness.
