In response to the events of today's strike against rising fuel
prices, the Embassy reminds US citizens to avoid mass demonstrations
and to exercise caution when traveling in parts of Beirut's southern
suburbs. At this time, the Embassy is maintaining normal operating
hours.
If you have questions or concerns, you may contact the Consular
Section at 04-542-600. Americans can sign up to receive copies of
all Embassy warden notices by e-mailing the following address: Join-wardenmessagebeirut@mh.databack.com
